Apple initially planned to delay the iPhone Duo’s release until November, with a launch limited to the United States and China, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

The company ultimately released the device in more than 70 countries on Friday, October 23. Gurman said Apple rushed the iPhone Duo to market without sufficient inventory to meet demand.

The device is currently difficult to find in stores, while its estimated delivery date has extended to January 25.
