According to the latest report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter, Apple plans to introduce three new iPad variants in the first half of 2027. This upcoming lineup follows the company's recent announcement earlier this month regarding a new iPad mini featuring an OLED display.

Gurman indicates that the next iteration of the iPad Air will also adopt an OLED screen and is expected to be powered by the M5 chip. Meanwhile, the forthcoming iPad Pro is rumored to incorporate a vapor chamber cooling system designed to dissipate heat more effectively, thereby enhancing sustained performance capabilities. This model is anticipated to transition to the M6 processor.

Regarding the entry-level device, identified as the iPad 12, previous rumors suggest it will include an A19 chip to enable support for Apple Intelligence. The device is also expected to feature an N1 chip providing Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, while cellular versions may utilize Apple's power-efficient C1X modem.
