Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold9 lineup may offer few rear-camera changes over its predecessors, according to tipster Lanzuk. The report says the 2027 foldables could retain their existing camera configurations, although an under-display camera may return.

The Galaxy Z Fold9 Ultra is reportedly set to feature a 200MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, while retaining 3x optical zoom. Lanzuk did not specify the zoom camera’s resolution. The current Z Fold8 Ultra uses a 10MP module, and the report suggests an upgrade is uncertain.

For the standard Galaxy Z Fold9, Lanzuk reportedly expects a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, matching the setup described for its predecessor. The report notes that changes to the sensors remain possible, but considers them unlikely. Samsung has used its 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor across its 200MP phones since the Galaxy S23 Ultra, while the Z Fold8’s main camera uses a 50MP ISOCELL GN3 sensor.
