HMD Global has officially unveiled the Nokia 2360 Flip, a new entry in its feature phone lineup characterized by a clamshell design. The device is specifically engineered with school students and senior citizens in mind, offering dual displays and a dedicated emergency button as its primary safety features.

The standout capability of the Nokia 2360 Flip is the Family Assist feature, which enables family members to remotely manage the handset. Through this function, users can add contacts, adjust volume levels, set reminders, and access various other settings without needing physical access to the phone.

Safety is further addressed through a dedicated SOS button located on the rear panel. When pressed, this button initiates a call to a pre-set emergency contact and simultaneously sends an alert message to up to five designated contacts.

Despite these features, the device operates exclusively on 2G networks. This connectivity limitation may restrict its usability in regions where 2G infrastructure has already been discontinued or is being phased out.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Nokia 2360 Flip includes a 2.8-inch main display and a smaller 1.77-inch external screen. Additional features comprise a removable 1,450mAh battery, a loudspeaker, a QVGA camera, 4MB of internal storage, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone will be offered in three color options: Burgundy Red, Charcoal, and Teal. As of now, HMD has not announced specific pricing or availability details for the device.
