A leak has revealed specifications for an upcoming 41mm version of Xiaomi’s Watch S5, months after the company launched the 46mm model. Like other S-series watches, it is expected to run Xiaomi’s proprietary HyperOS rather than Wear OS.
The leaked specifications point to a stainless steel body measuring 9.9mm thick, compared with 9.5mm for the Watch S4 41mm. The larger battery is the main change: its reported 590mAh capacity is close to twice the S4 41mm’s 320mAh. Xiaomi’s smaller S5 is said to last up to eight days with normal use or up to 14 days in power-saving mode.
The display is reportedly unchanged in size and resolution, with a 1.32-inch OLED panel at 466 x 466 pixels. Its peak brightness is said to reach 3,000 nits. The watch is also reported to retain 5 ATM water resistance.
Other listed features include an optical heart-rate sensor, three temperature sensors for menstrual cycle tracking, a barometer and a compass. For positioning, the leak cites a dual-band receiver supporting GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. Connectivity is said to include Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and Wi-Fi 6.
The leak, which reportedly comes from Czechia, puts the Watch S5 41mm at CZK 5,469, above the 46mm model’s CZK 3,999 launch price. Other leaks have suggested a price of €240. These prices have not been confirmed by Xiaomi.
