Nothing plans to launch a new AI-native product in December, CEO Carl Pei has announced. The device will have no screen, and Pei says it “couldn’t have been an app.”
In a post on X, Pei described the product as a tool made with the personality and attention to detail associated with Nothing. He did not reveal what it is or explain how it will work.
His comments about the “context gap” offer a possible clue. Pei described how people may lose ideas or useful remarks while reaching for their phone to write them down. That focus could point to an ambient recording tool, though Nothing has not confirmed the product’s function.
Nothing says the product is set to begin shipping to customers in December.
