Oppo has announced that its newly launched F35 Pro is receiving the ColorOS 17 update. The release is part of the company’s third wave of updates for the operating system.
For F-series phones, ColorOS 17 introduces Smoothness Boost, a feature intended to improve system responsiveness and maintain a fluid experience over extended use. It works alongside the operating system’s Laminar Flow engine to improve everyday performance.
The update also adds AI Call Guard, which alerts users to potential fraud involving synthetic voices and AI-manipulated faces during calls and video interactions. Oppo says Private Computing Cloud keeps users’ data private, including from the company itself.
The F35 Pro is a mid-range phone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 chipset and equipped with an 8,000mAh battery. It launched early last month and is available in India from INR 45,999.
