The source of CAD-based renders of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra has produced a dummy unit using the same files, offering a closer look at the phone’s exterior. The model was also shown alongside the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Google Pixel 11 Pro.
The dummy has no working components, display or battery, so its weight is not representative of the finished phone. Its dimensions are 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97 mm, compared with 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9 mm for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Images show a front cut-out for the selfie camera and a redesigned camera island on the back. The dummy also has the power and volume buttons on its right edge, while the bottom includes openings for USB-C, the SIM card, microphone, speaker and S Pen.
The new camera island appears to have one fewer camera than the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Its layout may leave room for magnets, potentially enabling MagSafe-style accessories, and could help reduce wobbling on flat surfaces. However, the changed design means Galaxy S26 Ultra cases would not fit the S27 Ultra, despite the camera sensor positions appearing to differ only slightly.
