Google’s November 2026 system update adds automatic photo and video backups from Android devices to Windows through Quick Share. The feature is listed in Google Play services version 26.43, released on November 2, and applies to phones and PCs.

The update also brings Android Family Hub, a dedicated area for family management tools in Android Settings. Google Password Manager now lets users choose which credentials to keep when importing passwords or passkeys that conflict with existing ones.

Other Play services changes include additional connectivity logs for Android phones, cars, and TVs, plus system-management updates intended to improve battery life, connectivity, performance, privacy, security, stability, and the ability to update devices. The release also includes Wallet loyalty card updates and bug fixes for Wallet and Safety & Emergency services.

Google Play Store version 53.9 adds a reminder for users when Play Protect has been turned off for an extended period. Game detail pages also gain highlights covering gameplay style, review summaries, and gaming community activity.

Google notes that features listed in its monthly system release notes may not be available to everyone immediately; some can take months to roll out fully.
